Located in the heart of the thousand-year-old village of Saint-Geniès-des-Mourgues, our winery is just 15 km from Montpellier and 30 km from Nîmes. Between the Mediterranean Sea and the garrigue, this unspoilt land tells a long story of vines and savoir-faire.
Founded in 1961, Les Coteaux de Montpellier Cooperative Winery now brings together 89 winegrowers across a 1,000-hectare area stretching from the outskirts of Montpellier to the Petite Camargue. This vast vineyard reflects a shared commitment and constant attention to quality, as well as to expressing the unique character of each terroir.

In Saint-Geniès-des-Mourgues, terroir is first and foremost shaped by the women and men who bring it to life. A heritage passed down and shared from one generation to the next, it is built on the balance between soil, climate, topography, vines and savoir-faire — all of which contribute to the unique identity of our wines.
On these lands, the vineyards cultivated by our winegrowers benefit from ideal conditions: a Mediterranean climate, clay-limestone soils scattered with rounded pebbles, and slopes perfectly suited to growing vines.
